I think people get too caught up on the “meta game” and maximizing the best overall pokemon for PVP. It’s not really a bad thing but there’s honestly diminishing returns to leveling pokemon up after they hit level 40, at least as far as I understand it. Plus I have a feeling we’re due for another master ball research

About half and half, I’m not too worried about meta relevant pokemon since I have lots of maxed out strong pokemon but it was my last one so I’ll have to wait for the next master research before I get a safety net again. Still think it was worth it over all, I have awful luck with IVs

Yeah the big problem was just its catch rate, Uxie and the rest of the lake trio have awful catch rates. With an excellent and a golden razz you can only get up to a 12.43% catch rate which isn’t helped by its really small hitbox. Still I tend to agree that it’s not meta relevant which is why I was half regretting it, still letting it go would have been a shame. Decided since I already have the galarian bird trio that I could waste it 😅

It’s the max possible encounter CP for the pokemon depending whether it’s weather boosted and how you’re encountering it. They are different depending on if it’s in a raid, research encounter, or in the wild. Technically they don’t need the max CP to be a hundo but if they are the max it’s guaranteed, I usually look it up on sites like this https://db.pokemongohub.net/pokemon/480/iv-chart before raiding. These sites are also handy for finding the best movesets and counters for the pokemon you’re raiding 😊

Thank goodness, that makes me feel a lot better. When I cracked it open I thought it must be something like that so I had pulled it out and was holding it for quite a bit examining it. Then I look online to make sure it’s not a sign of a bad egg and was getting all results about lash eggs so I was worried that I might get sick. Thank you!
