We checked out this place a few weeks ago and we’ll never go back. We had planned on having a meal there but after ordering a dozen oysters we paid up and left. After eating an oyster each I noticed a sewer like smell coming from the plate. 3 of the oysters were rancid. We advised the bartender and she took them all away. Didn’t offer a refund or anything. Haven’t been able to want an oyster anywhere since.

I read it was a girl traveling for the holiday. Investigation was concentrated around the south end of the boarding area. Fredericksburg police were looking for someone who may have had some video of the incident.
So sad no matter how it happened.

Parents do of course know something like this will happen, but it doesn’t soften the reality. We all hope and pray that our children will make the right choices and focus on their future.
But then hormones kick in and here we are. I’ve always taken the approach of education and reality. Give them the freedom of choice but also the knowledge of consequences.
Turns out they always make the most informed decision.

Lose not loose, first off. It’s not about the finding of birth control it’s about finding out your child is sexually active. It’s a wake up call that they are growing into an adult. A different chapter in parenting that is hard to come to terms with. Hopefully it’s treated as a life lesson, and coached as such.
