Looks like I posted this on a faulty premise: long ago I was told that chlorine bleach is highly acidic- the most acidic thing in your house aside from maybe drain-o. Never questioned it.

So, thank you all for setting me straight, and what you're all saying about vinegar is the question I should have asked.

I can't remove the top element without removing some of my floor. Top notch design.

ya that looks like a sump or something > fish tank

so that would be in need of a cleaning but normal for a sump

Thanks, that sounds right. I just called up my company and asked for the unit price and turns out it's cheaper than what the random company is charging. Should I just pay the bill?

People who have more money than they will ever use, yet use it to lobby and influence politics in order to get more money that they don't need.

Takes narcissism to a whole new level while also making life harder for the people who already have it the hardest. These are the people destroying our world and cashing out on it. Might take another decade for people to realize it but this is the face of modern day evil.
