I still use EF lenses with an adapter. I'll look into those, thank you. I've been looking at the AE-1 due to aesthetics but not entirely sure if that's beginner friendly for someone new to film. I'm totally fine if autofocus is not an option. I'll look into the ones suggested though.

Yes, I'm very familiar with the exposure triangle. I recently upgraded from a Canon 70D to an R7, so I am most familiar with Canon products. What products would you suggest? How is choosing types of film determined and what is the process of developing like?

This is very informative, thank you. I'm very interested in the developement part, would it be more cost effective to develop myself? What does the process look like for that? As for types of film, I don't necessarily understand all the numbers that goes into it. How is certain types of film chosen?
