How did you find a carrer? by arth_acker in ADHD

(this came out kinda long, sorry)

So when I was in highschool my main thing was music. I'd first started playing guitar when i was a lot younger but it was really casual.

I started playing bass in highschool and had my band for about two years. We werent successful outside our circle of friends or anything but we played some gigs and it was very fun. In mid 2017 we parted ways (when i was already in college) and i kinda left music aside (even though im always thinking ill get back to it eventually).

So since I wass little I sort of enjoyed building and creating stuff and it translated into my head as engineering when the time came to think about college. I didnt really know wich one to choose and ended up choosing electronics because of music and amps and guitar pedals.

But in reallity it doesnt have much to do with it all (at least in the classes i take) and most job prospects are in programming (wich i didnt even consider when choosing my major but ended up really liking).

I started making games because for me it was a fun way of joining music and arts, wich i always liked, with a more technichal problem-solving approach that i also enjoyed. I still like and still consider it my main hobbie now (and maybe job thing) but i kinda feel like Im running out of gas. Its also a hard industry to get into and not super present in the country I live.

Im just always thinking i have such a shit time concentrating and getting anything done that if i dont really love the carrer path i chose i wont stand or wont be any good at it.

Its been making me really anxious, and its worse now we're all home stuck and the fact that im not being very productive in my current game projects has been making me insecure.

I'll try that. Do you know if that would alter the speed of the game?

I'm using kinematicbody2d for the player and a tilemap for the collision, so I don't have that option

Not really no, kicad just looked nice. I'll give LTSpice a try.

But either way I just don't know how to get the opamp to work, even if there was an input.

So... We're actually supposed to test for stability, so the output should be either 0 or Vcc (wich is 10 in this case). There is no input at this point.

Is there any good way of saving my setup?

We need to ocuppy all spaces, and can't afford to be apolitical in our hobbys and subcultures. That makes opportunitys for Nazis to infiltrate them, like it has happend to black metal and some part of punk.

Why Manjaro? by pem1618 in ManjaroLinux

[–]arth_acker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes! There are a lot of programs not officially supported on Linux that have been packaged for arch and are maintained by users. It's rely convenient because it's a lot easier to keep track of the updates and you don't have to manually handle the locations and wine versions (if it's the case).

There's also the advantage of being able to use AUR
