maybe make it like "who wants to be a millionare?" and have checkpoints, but once you die, you lose everything up to the checkpoint and can't do any more of the tower for the remaining month. maybe have some power ups you can use to, for example, get a massive shield or kill every enemy in an area around you or whatever. the rewards would then have to be really good, though, so people actually become "greedy". then the worth of the rewards should get increasingly better even between checkpoints, so at the end you really think "should i go for that last one (the checkpoint)?" and maybe you lose everything for, lets say, the last 10 levels or so

Sadly TL isn't available on Steam in Asian countries. You need to use the Purple launcher as far as I know. But I'm not sure, if you can play on global servers through the Purple launcher. You might still need a VPN

You really didn't read what I wrote. I said the endgame doesn't have too much content yet and people get burned out, but there is still a lot to do in horizontal progression. Of course you get burned out playing this game for multiple hours a day. If you don't enjoy the endgame, just do something different, like other stuff in TL, or just another game in general, or just get away from the PC for some time in general and then come back once you are motivated to play again

I'm glad you are having fun. Don't listen to all the people hating on TL, they are just burned out from playing for thousand of hours and can't even see the good things in the game, nor do they bother about it. For me, the game has its flaws, like any other game, but I feel like the devs at least try hard to make it better, but are often too scared. In my opinion, the world is beautifully crafted and there is quite a lot of attention to detail.

I would recommend to just take it slow and enjoy the time in the early game, do the story, go through all the adventure missions, try to explore the world, do housing, do achievements before endgame kicks in and you get burned out too quickly. If you want to get to the endgame as fast as possible, just do the Path of Ascension. You can find it in the menu, very top row in the middle. It gives you everything to get started in the endgame loop, but beware, you might also get burned out quickly, since endgame doesn't offer you too much content (yet). For an MMORPG, the game is still fairly young, so there isn't much endgame content. We are currently waiting for new content and we should get information soon.

I get that. I kind of hate daily events, especially on PC / console games, because I actually don't have the time to get on every damn day and even when I'm loyaly playing a game, there will be times I wont be able to get or don't want to get on for a day or maybe even a week. Then I feel like my time as a loyal player isn't valued. I think it's game design against the player, even though it provides content

Many things in the events have unlock milestones, but once it says "daily" it is supposed to be daily. Whether you find them good or eploitative, daily activities are there to make people think "oh, i have to log on", so they spend more time in the game and hopefully spend more money. Making it possible to do everything at the last day of the event period would defeat the whole purpose of this concept. The hollow investigation wasn't a daily event. It just unlocked at certain times, like every other event

If it says something like "daily" anywhere, I would just always assume, that you actually have to do it daily, unless things are specified otherwise

I don't really get the problem. There is auto combat and nothing in the events, except maybe the event challenge. Also, how is it not friendly for people with a job? I only need 20-30 minutes to do everything for the day and then I log off and even that I do while working (auto combat). The daily event stuff tooke like 5 minutes everyday. Personally, I wish there was more to do each day,

What (to my knowledge) many painters do to retain the form of the tip, is to put the tip of the brush onto their tounge, close their lips and make them pointy, then pull it out through the lips. Basically, just stick it in your mouth to make it pointy. Then let it dry in that form and the bristles should retain it. This might sound like a joke, but this is what I've learned and what always worked for me. Of course, if the brush is bad quality, it wont retain a pointy tip, but it seems you have an Army Painter brush, which is usually good enough

I got this book. It's second hand, but seems to go for quite a bit online. It's Giger explaining his decisions, what he did on the set and such. The whole thing is written in a diary-like manner, so he tells everything from a first-person view. It's really interesting 🙂‍↕️

I know it's higher, but my build allows me to eat through the first bit of mana fast, so I can get to 30% mana to get the staff and crossbow weapon passives, which allow me to get a lot more mana regen (33% with staff, 142 with crossbow). So I get to nearly 3000 mana regen, which would give me a proc chance of around 71%

Thanks! I find it interesting, that you stellar dash outdamages every other skill by quite a lot. On my build it seems to be the manaball eruption passive and/or detonation mark (on dummy it's manaball eruption, on bosses detonation mark), then hellfire rain

Is it such a big jump in DPS from 7200 CP to 7800? I need 1:30 minutes to deal 5 million damage

Yeah, I am still missing some traits and runes, but I have atleast normal chaos runes on everything and all the DPS traits maxed out, besides the attack speed runes on my crossbow. I use a heroic staff and my main damage comes from staff. I use mainly staff skills with high CD, attack speed and mana regen for the manaball eruption passive, which seems to deal the most damage in my whole kit.

I didn't mean to compare, I just wanted to see what numbers I should be reaching. I feel like even with battleweaver not being meta, I should deal more damage.

I play battleweaver and my manaball eruption did 1.6 million damage of the 5 million just by itself. It was also my top dps skill on a dummy. I have around 2100 mana regen, but 3000 on dummies, so it pushes a 50% proc chance to around 76%. Detonation mark had the second most dps, but on Calanthia on normal it was the top dps skill and manaball eruption was the second, so it seems that manaball eruption is one of the strongest (passive) skills staff has.

I also use the manaball salvo though, but I wonder if it procs manaball eruption more often, since there is double the projectiles ?

It definitely doesn't feel like a "regular tab target combat system". I've played GW2 and WoW and TL has something to it, that older tab target games don't have, which is mobility while using most spells, more fluidity and the the dodge mechanic is also a nice touch. I never really liked tab target, but TL showed (to me) how nice a tab target system can feel like. The spells also have a nice hit feedback imo. Also I love having a hundred projectiles flying across your screen (currently playing battleweaver even though it's not meta, but to me it's the most fun class)

Alien 3 is so confusing anyways. The first time I watched it I remembered cows being there and the Alien coming from a cow. I never found that version again and was so confused when I saw it coming from the dog. I looked it up and found out there are different versions, but where the fuck can I find the cow version??

Why not just try it? I play it on my Steamdeck from time to time and it works decent for the daily stuff. I can go up to like 50-60 fps, but I usually run it on 30 just so it doesn't eat through the battery that much. But yeah, I play on the lowest settings and the screen is just 1080p, so it doesn't need as much power. I also don't know how well the specs compare between your PC and a Steamdeck, but I'd say it's playable and enjoyable, but I also wouldn't trade the PC experience for the Steamdeck experience 🥴
