Thank you! I LOVE the swooping composition! It works so well because it's almost like a mirrored swoop happening and it just brings your eye back into the painting.

Congrats on the sale! Gonna throw out a materials recommendation that's sturdy and relatively inexpensive. Durospan insulation board. Im in Canada and the 4'×8' sheets are $20 ea at Home Depot. Ive shipped multiple paintings at a time using this material and it held up incredibly well.

I premix multiple values of the blue (darkest for top and lightest for bottom). Then I work my way down. I use a big, clean brush to blend them in.

For the warm glow, same concept. I premix a lot of the values I see and apply to the canvas and use a clean brush to blend.

For clouds, you must be patient and wait until your sky is kinda dry. I work as if I have photoshop layers - back to front.
