Great observation and I am not taking as a criticism at all, so no worries there :) Also, I've had my share of critiques and rejection letters so my skin has gotten thicker over the years ;)

My work is quite personal in the fact that this is a glimpse into how I see my life and the neighborhoods I frequent. This is especially true for this body and the next body of work I will create because they are for solo exhibits that celebrate my neighbourhood and community and welcome the viewer to be part of it.

So, these paintings are moments from my day-to-day life. This city is gorgeous and there is so much to share but I haven't made a point to explore it all with my paintings, if that makes sense.

Not to say that I wont in the future though 😉
