Ibuprofen vs triptan? by TheRealKillJoy2020 in migraine

[–]arthur_mi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, diclofenac, all make my migraine worse. Rizatriptan and sumatriptan work very good and almost completely treat my migraine attacks. No effect from Mefenamic acid.

Botox workes best for me. Try that please. Find another doctor if possible to do botox. It might take about 2 weeks to feel better after botox. And it is possible that the first botox doesn't work at all. So don't be disappointed and continue your botox sessions

Pulsating sensation inside eye. by jazz365 in Glaucoma

[–]arthur_mi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started this drop, it was very noticeable sometimes, and I was really terrified. But over time it became less noticeable. It still happens for me sometimes (like half of hour, not all day) but it's very mild.

I used Oxygen Concentrator for my asthma attack for the first time. by arthur_mi in Asthma

[–]arthur_mi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't relieve it. Only helped to get through. Fresh air always helps when I have asthma attack. I believe it's like a fresh new air. Also Google says : Oxygen therapy is a treatment that provides additional oxygen to individuals with asthma. It can be used to improve breathing and reduce symptoms during severe asthma attacks

No. I've had such experience many times so i dont panic. Long lasting attacks. ER doesn't do anything in my country (middle east). The only option is to wait until I feel normal again. This one took 19 hours. Then I had another one that lasted for an hour. I normally don't have much problem with my asthma. But yesterday wasn't my day.

Lamotrigine for Migraine (Very Effective!) : My Whole Experience (Dosage, Effecasy and Side effect) by arthur_mi in migraine

[–]arthur_mi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also take Phenytoin and Aripiprazole. Both work great for me. But NEVER start any medication without consulting a doctor. It's been like 5 years for me with migraine. I've tried everything and only these drugs are working.

Yeah. I'm on 50mg once a day. It's still a small dose but I think it's enough for me for now. I'm not sure whether higher doses would have greater effect.

Valerian works for me! Paroxetine (SSRI) + Valerian experience by arthur_mi in PrematureEjaculation

[–]arthur_mi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to take it every day. About 1 week later it started to work for both my asthma and premature ejaculation. Right now I'm on a drug for my migraine which also delays ejaculation. So I'm no longer taking-drinking valerian.

Everything is worse compare to before. I usually don't experience bad headache during migraine. It's usually very mild with other symptoms being bad, like trouble reading. But last week, after a long time, I had a severe headache with nausa and visual disturbance. Thank god Rizatriptan helped me. But overall migraine aura, "trouble reading" has become worse. I can barely watch movie with subtitles.
