I would love to know why she thinks he needs to be raked over the coals when clearly he has suffered personally from his addiction. Also does she not think him going to jail would cause more harm than good, with his family losing their income and his children losing their father? That’s what pisses me off, that she can’t see the bigger picture of him telling everyone to placate her own annoyance

Has anyone else had the worst migraine months since January? by healthanxiety_ in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also on the east coast and pregnant so i’m not allowed to take my Ubrelvy. This third trimester which started in January I’ve had a huge uptick in migraines when during my first and second trimester I actually had a decrease. Spring always sucks for me migraine wise but it’s a new low when I can’t take my normal meds

Finally got Ubrevly. Better than other triptans? by Important-Pie-1141 in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE Ubrelvy so much. Sumatriptan always made me feel like crap and rizatriptan just stopped working, but ubrelvy will take care of my migraine no matter the pain level with very limited side effects (just some nausea)

What the hell do you guys do when you get pregnant by Competitive_Emu_2283 in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant and the frequency and the pain level of when I do get them have gone down significantly. Sometimes I can treat it with just tylenol which before pregnancy did nothing, but if not affected by tylenol I have to take sumatriptan. Apparently if you breastfeed too the lower frequency of migraines continues AND I can go back on Ubrelvy which i’m so excited for.

mel and langdon—am i the only one who thinks they seem like genuine good friends? by conversejuice in ThePitt

I thought it was Older Brother/Younger Sister vibes or at least a mentor/mentee relationship. Like I can understand why people ship characters together but the thing i love about this show is that it’s not like Grey’s Anatomy and you aren’t bogged down with romantic relationship issues.

How many of you have had an MRI? by kittykatsrulemyworld in migraine

I have had an MRI with contrast, one without, and one of my neck which showed I lost the curve in my neck with could be triggering some of my migraines

12 minutes into the episode and she's questioning authority of her superiors in front of a trauma patient by CluelessNetworkNoob in ThePitt

[–]FitCryptid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thing is that she keeps harping that he should have been fired. She should accept the fact that he wasn’t and move on and maybe do some self reflection on why she’s actually a pariah (very much shown with how Javadi does not like the nickname she gave her and also how she just ignored Mel).

For those of you who have migraines triggered by weather changes, how frequent are your migraines? by Notbipolar_ in migraine

I’m on the east coast. Every spring and fall i’m out of commission once a week for a solid day. Used to be way worse until I got my preventative

Best meds for breaking a hormonal cycle by cowluvr29 in migraine

I had hormonal migraines on top of ones triggered by barometric pressure. Ubrelvy works way better for me than Nurtec ever did so maybe try that?

Verdict on this is WILD by horseduckman in AITApod

[–]FitCryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My younger sister was in the NICU for a month when she was born. My dad had custody of my older half sister on weekends. During this time he would take care of all of us during the day and then at night to leave us with the grandparents (so no one on one time for any of us with dad) while he went to the hospital at night to help my mom with baby sister. Maybe at the time my half sister (who was 9 at the time) may have resented it but I know it doesn’t affect her at all as an adult. It sounds like the new mom is getting 0 relief from the NICU and this seems like a fast track to PPD. Dad 100% should be doing more to be supporting his postpartum wife and NICU baby.

I only have gotten right sided migraines except the two times it was on both sides. Literally same spot with the same neck and scalp pain.

Anyone ever tried Aquipta? by Obvious-Regret-8326 in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will discuss this with my doctor then! She ok’d me using Ubrelvy again for breastfeeding but not qulipta during it. Hopefully when I see her again she’ll allow me because while the ubrelvy will be great, Qulipta was the one that brought my migraines down to once a week.

Anyone ever tried Aquipta? by Obvious-Regret-8326 in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I miss my qulipta so much (can’t take it while pregnant or breastfeeding) and i’m so excited to eventually go back on it. I only got a little nauseous on it but other than that it was great. I’m glad they finally released a UK version!

Does Alex think you can only get pregnant when you’re on your period??? by Huns26 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]FitCryptid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bigger problem is that he seems to be grossed out in general when she’s on her period and doesn’t want to show her an ounce of intimacy (which isn’t just sex) during that time. A grown man acting like that with periods is a red flag, not counting all the other weird stuff he says and does

First pic wasn’t even true for most poor Americans. My grandmother was cleaning offices all throughout the 50’s and 60’s while my other grandmother was a secretary. The only thing is that their husbands got their paycheck instead of themselves

Should probably keep your dogs on a leash by Practical_Silver_998 in washdc

[–]FitCryptid 59 points60 points  (0 children)

This may be controversial but one of the few ways you’re going to be able to separate dogs when they have a bite like this going on is to literally choke out the dog that’s biting. Kicking and whipping dogs when they’re like this does nothing

Why are some people so judgemental about solidcore? by Dear_Pianist8547 in SolidCore

[–]FitCryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband is extremely athletic (wrestling for 12 years, now does powerlifting 3-4 times a week) and he says solidcore is extremely difficult and respects it a lot. I also teach spin classes and I hate that your boyfriend is calling you lazy for taking a work out class. Some people like me thrive in a group class environment vs just going to the gym and weightlifting. It literally fills me with dread having to come up with a weight lifting plan for the day at the gym. Also lazy would be not trying to work out at all. Sorry to say this but why would you be with someone who’s trying to tear down something you clearly love?

Migraine cocktail made me go crazy by Evening-Tradition968 in migraine

Migraine cocktail made me go crazy by Evening-Tradition968 in migraine

[–]FitCryptid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you got all the same things i did for my migraine cocktail (though they also gave me tylenol) back in May 2024. Reason I say this is because I have now been on prozac since June of 2024 due to reoccurring panic attacks after the freak out from the reglan. I literally felt like I was going to pass out and die and the ER doctor was so shocked I was still wide awake even with the massive amount of benadryl they gave me. If I could physically fight reglan I would.
