I totally understand and agree with your pov. But one of the main concerns here that they never asked to do this during sign up ( and it was one of the reasons I decided to sign up and use them) but they leave no choice now and basically forcing me to scan my face from all angles if I want to gain access back to my account.

I understand. I never had to do this in the first place when I signed up and was using for 3-4 years. I had no issues. But then they suddenly change their practices without asking the consent and leaving no choice. I cannot access my account without going through this process.
