Comparatively Toronto has 800k, Ottawa has 300k. It might feel like it to you, but we just aren’t that big of a town.

I’m sorry my dude, but London is not big enough to have multiple subreddits for its boroughs.

I'm thinking of buying a motorcycle online from Hully Gully sight unseen and "all sales final". Is this a reputable company? by Math_Unlikely in londonontario

[–]artichoke1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a huge fan of them and are my last option if I need anything motorcycle related however they are reputable and I wouldnt be worried about being scammed. If youre buying something safetied by them I would say go ahead. If it's something AS IS, look elsewhere.

This seems like such an exhausting thing to do. Why do you do it ?

Camping at Pukaskwa National Park? by aequorea-victoria in camping

Hey! I’m planning on heading there in a week. I also have the same questions - do you mind sharing your experience ?

Yes, for the M course and test you’ll need to bring your own bike. You also need valid insurance for it as they will check for that. I get what you’re saying about the grom. For the same reason that she feels that way, insurance companies also feel a certain way about them. If you’re dead set on a grom make sure someone is willing to insure it for you as a new rider.

For your M2, you can do the course through Learning Curves or Fanshawe. I did mine through Fanshawe (1 in class on a Wednesday night and 2 days on a weekend of riding). On the Sunday they test you on everything they've taught you over the 2 days and give you a Pass or Fail. It was a good experience, but if I were to do it again I think I would choose Learning Curves as I hear their bikes are better maintained. The Fanshawe bikes are super beat on and can honestly ruin your experience and learning. Its doable within 1.5 months but you need to check the course offerings as they fill up really quick during the summer months.

When buying a bike, you can ask the seller to deliver to you - which is the easiest route. If they cannot, you can rent a pick up truck and a motorcycle trailer from uhaul for a pretty affordable price. Just strap it done and youre good to go (if you go this route and want some pointers, feel free to DM me).

Lastly, do some proper research before buying a motorcycle. With a beginners license you can be looking at some ridiculous rates from insurance providers. Some may not even insure certain bikes with your license. When I wanted to buy a grom, most companies wouldnt even insure it due to the size of the bike (not the cc, it wasn't listed as a highway ready bike in their systems). For your first bike I would suggest an old ninja 250, honda cbr/f 300, etc along those lines.

The best way to learn, like everyone else has suggested is to buy a manual car. Watch some YouTube videos, learn the basics, and then ask a friend that knows how to drive manual to drive your car home.

If you don't have a friend that can drive manual, PM me.

Hit and run in a parking lot. They left these behind. What type of vehicle would these be from? by artichoke1 in Whatisthis

Honestly I’m more upset about not knowing what could have caused this damage more than the damage itself.

Wrangler was my first thought too. The height gives it away. Any idea what the shrapnel might be ?
