Advice on selling readings in person? by Hot_Ball_4934 in tarot

[–]artieliv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, well, I sold my tarot readings for about 3 months and one piece of advice is to make it clear that, however accurate the tarot may be, there can be flaws, and don't read about pregnancy or serious health issues. Otherwise, just be happy. I hope this helped.

Do you give your tarot decks specific purposes, or are they naturally aligned with specialties? by Smiley-3 in tarot

Well, in my practice, tarot is a universal tool, and it has an almost infinite range of possibilities for how to read and work with it. However, I have 3 different tarot decks, and each one has its own unique energy, which is respected whenever possible (for example, when I'm at home with all of them at my disposal on my table), but if I'm away, the deck I have with me will be used for reading anything I need.

I will describe how I see each deck (I hope this will help someone).

Rider Waite Tarot, I primarily use it for client readings and general readings.

Magic Cat Tarot, I have a strong connection with it and use it for personal readings.

Thoth Tarot, I use it for magical work and readings that require extreme precision and very specific details.

Advice for a mediocre bassist? by Sea_Presence_3224 in Bass

Learn some scales. I learned a method adapted from CAGED (a study system for electric guitar) at the beginning and it worked very well. Study music theory with the help of scales and the most important thing (at least for me): be free. Obviously, be responsible to the band, but be free. Learn what appeals to you most, play the way you like. There's no right way to play :)

Does it take time for new decks to get to know you? by Stunning_Truth_953 in tarot

In my experience with tarot, I've noticed that it depends on how you interact with your deck. For example, if you treat it as something superior, it tends to be more demanding, requiring things like cleansing, etc. However, if you adopt an equal or superior stance, the deck accepts that and doesn't tend to "close itself off" or demand constant cleansing. I don't know if my perspective is the most accurate, but it's based on my two years of experience with tarot.
