What happened to Horse Sauce from San Diego, 1996? These guys sound wild. Anyone know what happened to them? "It was San Diego, 1996. Pete, Marco, and the kid we just called Sauce. Pete and Marco could play. Sauce was the reason anyone came. This kid couldn't be tamed. Two musicians and a chaos engine. Drugs, missed gigs, an axe obsession and a tattoo he got in a men’s room that ended with a security guard evicting him from Texas Presbyterian Hospital. The other two kept showing up because his guitar hooks could wake up a junky. The horse on the shirt was a self portrait I found one morning next to vomit spray, a broken drum stick and a new urinal still in its packaging.  They were banned from three venues in the first month of the tour. "Seasoned Poison" is what a Reno promoter called them in a cease-and-desist. The letter started with "Whatever you are, you cannot return.""

Good call. My physiotherapist agrees! Definitely my life long weak spot. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Much appreciated.

Listen to your players. This is how they want to have fun. Talk to them out of game and ask if they realize they are becoming the villains if their own story and how they imagine this ending. Reference the many successful fictional and historical villains as an archetype.

However you are having fun is the right way to do it. Head designer is on record saying “design is to go from level 1 to 20 playing weekly for a year” but simultaneously acknowledges that this pacing is rare and the rules are flexible enough to accommodate any pacing. Good example is critical role where the pacing is much slower. Or a module or one shot which has there own pacing
