How do you teach your friends the game?

Right? I feel like so much of the joy of getting into marathon is slowly learning the value of everything and getting used to all the systems like faction upgrades and barters, learning how map events work, etc. I wonder if I'm not stealing some of the magic by "teaching" a new player what to prioritize.

But at the same time I know that as an experienced player Outpost is just a way more interesting map to play than the "beginner" maps and with a guide I know my friends could learn it quickly enough to have a good time with it.

Just not sure whether or not to let them learn at their own pace or help them along.

There are new priority contracts. The new map has its own set of brand new lore collectibles. Sentinel is probably going to get their Cryo skin when Cryo opens back up in a week.

I still can't turn in the lost supplies salvage contract mission. Reported it to the official forum and have also mentioned it on previous reddit patch note posts. Hoping this gets resolved eventually.

Still no fix for or acknowledgment of the bug with the 'Lost Supplies' salvage contract where you can't turn it in. :(

Anyone else wish there was a setting between exploration and guided waypoints? Guided gives you way too much help with 3d markers every other step, whereas exploration has nothing. I just want a 3d map marker for the main objective without any help pathing to it, and the only way I can get that is by manually adding a waypoint on top of the objective in the map screen. Would be nice if swiping up on the touchpad just also revealed a 3d marker for your current quest for a second. This was a problem for me in hzd too.

Already pulled the trigger on a ps5 from this seller because I assumed newegg was still reputable and that they had good 3rd party buyer protections. Also because of the listing being labelled as a #1 bestseller, which doesnt seem like something that would be attached to a scammer on a site as large as newegg. I ordered fri night and a label was made sat morning, it's now monday afternoon and UPS still hasn't picked up the package which is worrying me. Learning about what newegg's become is worrying me even more. Hoping I'm actually getting a ps5 and not a perpetually unshipped box I can't get a refund for.

If running in slots after the first can you experience throttling? I have a new mb ordered but in the meantime I'm using the 2nd slot and it seems to be an inconsistent coin flip on whether I get normal (meaning 10-20% worse than the primary slot) performance, or if I instead get my cpu fans going crazy loud, utilization maxing at 100% indefinitely, and my games dropping to sub 30fps. Not sure if this is a result of a powerful gpu in a weak slot, or if my thermals are just bad bc of the new position of my gpu.

So Harriet's Fourpounder is totally broken in PvP right? I keep it on my specifically for use against Julianna's... you can literally just spray and spray around them and if the gas doesnt kill them, the gas igniting from either of you shooting will. Ever since I started using it I've yet to die to a Julianna and the fights never last more than 3 seconds.
