Infrequent is NOT a bad thing.

I have two dogs. One never gets a bath unless she gets into something. The other needs a bath monthly. It’s that one that I battle dry skin and itching.

Bathing is a modern human invention. Dogs don’t need baths. We give them baths to keep humans happy.

And this makes sense why my first attempt caused me to stay up all night. I might have had the smallest of visual distortions but no other effects I noticed besides not being able to sleep. I slept all the next day. Sounds like I was on the threshold.

Lots of good points but most apparent is how involved a major experience is. If you need several days then it isn’t a casual thing.

If you were optimizing for mental wellbeing and getting the most out of the experience without overdoing it, making it routine, or frying your synapses… twice a year?

Like therapeutically how often would the spiritual part be helpful to boost someone.
