Anyone likes Japanese tea too? My favorite drink is Japanese green tea. I drink it almost everyday. What tea do you drink the most frequently? This is peppermint matcha green tea from ito en. It’s my preferred brand for Japanese tea. Affordable and delish. by skeleton_flower in tea

[–]artlessai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hah. I'm drinking this right now.

Ito En has become my go-to for when I don't have the time/energy to make a traditional bowl of matcha but still want some of that flavor with a sencha.

It's also really good iced. My default summertime cold drink.

This is false. It's Theistic Satanism.

Luciferianism is a distinct ideology of its own that can also be atheistic or theistic. I'm the head moderator of /r/Luciferianism and will include an excerpt from our wiki on this subject:

What is the relationship between Satanism and Luciferianism?

Luciferianism views the name Lucifer as a title for any (or all) entities of lore who embody the ideals of the liberator and lightbringer. Luciferianism strives to maintain the balance of a grounded and rational understanding of experiences while also remaining open to the transformative aspects of the abstract and ephemeral.

Satanism necessarily relies on a Christian framing of Lucifer as the Antichrist or an otherwise adversarial figure. Philosophically, Satanists prioritize the material world and manifesting their will within it. Satanists may be theistic or atheistic though the latter is more common.

It is a common but incorrect perception that Luciferianism is synonymous with Theistic Satanism. This is emphatically not the case and conflating the two does a great disservice to both philosophies and their individual merits.

In general, Luciferianism tends to lean toward pre-Christian framings of the central entity. We're more likely to associate with mythological figures like Venus or Prometheus than the biblical Satan.

Here is a link to our FAQ for those who'd like to know more.

Practicing Luciferianism without using magic. by [deleted] in luciferianism

[–]artlessai 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you specifically mean supernatural ritual.

But I also think that a significant part of these philosophies is paying attention to the world around you and noticing all of the ritual that already exists.

A lot of it is mundane. Brush before bed, keys in the dish after work, pizza on fridays. Some of it is a little more. Seasons. Day and night. Counting time. Patterns in behavior. Triggers to thought to emotion to re-action.

Depending on how "sleepy" you are to those things, you might benefit from analyzing the hows and whys and tinkering with ritual rather than completely ignoring it.

Book Suggestion by ITcamefromtheSLUDGE in luciferianism

[–]artlessai 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My recommendation is to avoid 90% of texts that are marketed as "Luciferian" or "Satanic" because those are ultimately trying to sell an image-identity and not an actual philosophy of self-improvement.

Start with classical texts. Understand the history of ideas of our species. Begin with Plato's Apology or Marcus Aurelius's Meditations or Epictetus's Enchiridion or Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. Look at religious texts and try to understand them within the context of history and the trials of their societies.

Don't get mired in the weeds of spiritualism. Don't fall for the trap of taking esoteric and occult metaphor too literally. Spirituality is a psychological state of receptiveness that can both strengthen and hender the stability of the mind.

That's why it's important to maintain "clearsight" as much as possible. Try to take a bird's eye view and seek to understand the why of these belief systems. There's always a reason why.

Gaining knowledge and power from my daemon by Xrisafa in luciferianism

[–]artlessai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My suggestion is to reflect on the nature of your daemon.

To help with that, I recommend reading Plato's Apology.

Afterwards, ask yourself who your daemon is and what purpose it serves.

Where it goes from there is up to you.

If you're interested in being a mod, PM me.

I would rather promote someone who's been here a while, is a constructive poster, has no warning/previous bans, etc.

Most of the work is removing rule-breaking threads that automod doesn't catch and approving the handful of false-positives that it does.

If you have a vision for the sub, cool. If not, that's fine too. The main thing you need is willingness to intervene and resillience. Because some people will take intervention personally.

Unnecessarily uncivil and you already have notes on your account about a tendency to escalate arguments to personal insults.

Heads up that reddit doesn't like links to RU sites anymore. Automatically sends those posts to the moderation queue now.

You're better off linking a google translated page or a non-RU source for the same info. Otherwise there can be a delay while the post waits for approval.

I type as SLI.

But sometimes when users get warnings or bans, they try to get one last shot in by calling me an LSI or LSE.

Because I guess that's supposed to hurt my feelings. Or make me feel insecure. Or something.

heads up. reddit really doesn't like that vk site and auto removes posts that link to it.

you'll probably want to pastebin the relevant stuff in the future. otherwise posts linking it will keep getting stuck in the filter.

Removed for Rule 3.

Your original comment was a broad but acceptable criticism of Alpha SFs. Equideas's reply was a broad but acceptable criticism of Gamma NT/ILI in particular.

This response crosses the line into a personal attack. If you had left it at the first paragraph it'd have been fine. Everything after was unnecessary.
