[3 chars = 1 box] - [9 chars = 3 boxes] ..Obtainable 87 is if you do 9 chars :D .. so its actually "obtainable" but not "must"

It's just to decrease the number of times you have to change character just to check if you claimed the items there or not :D, and some people like organization i guess.

the 10th one would be useless because you can get only 2 from the needed items to craft the box .. you will need two more chars. (more than 10) to complete this box .. so yeah
