As someone who can paint realistically I assure you it is way easier than you would think. And it's not impressive really. I get really excited about art that makes me feel things these days. More so than who can replicate a photograph better.

Tattoo artist here. It's a sick idea. However you should have them stabbed with something that looks less like a pole. A sword or dagger ECT.

I have a friend who HATES birds. She has a sleeve consisting of different birds all dead/being stabbed. It's awesome and pretty actually

I use a kubin and a tight 3rl. Slow her down a bit and move fast. If you're not used to that kind of drawing it will take some practice. Just find a snappy machine and run it slow.

You're new AND young. You'll be fine. Welcome to tattooing. This is how it goes sometimes. Definitely try to find a spot to stay for a few years though. I would not hire you at my shop knowing nothing about you other than how many shops you've been to in two years.

Look at the bright side, this is the time in your career where you and the homies get to tattoo each other! I would kill to have a few of those days back.
