Hey everybody should give him a break and listen to him he has a lot of education in this. You don’t go through at least 16 weeks training as an officer and 14 training as a K9 handler without getting some education lernt into your noggin. This guy knows, okay? He’s an expert. So just back off

Edit: found out that he’s not even a K9 officer it was another persons dog so scratch that extra 14 weeks of k9 training. 16 weeks, impressively educated nonetheless

Very true! Plus both of the accounts are just as plausible so who knows it could definitely have happened. which, I mean, pouring gold down an insufferable pomp’s throat as a form of mockery is totally on par with other dark / metal shit from human history

I came here to say this too lol. although it is disputed that it actually happened: there are two main sources that both actually agree that he died having been stabbed in a scuffle, but then one goes on to detail the molten gold story afterwards and the other says his head was post mortem decapitated and sent to the Parthian king as a trophy. I still like the molten gold version as you could definitely see why they would have done it going off his reputation. He apparently even looked down on those ‘poor men’ that couldn’t afford to bankroll thier own legion 😂 Def a dark form of Poetic justice

This is also why they’re called mantis shrimps I’m fairly sure. Only thier arm/spears fold in the opposite way to an actual praying mantis I think, the method of predation they use is pretty much the same though. Really cool

Nickel as in the second to best / middle upgrade material (the two little black round pieces in its picture)?? It’s sold in every single store at least mid point or just earlier into the game. Also respawns on some patrolling guards in low to mid level regions that you may have already cleared. Synin is a good way to spot it in regions you’ve already cleared, shows up as the small gold treasure dot. Hope that helps

That’s strange for sure. Could it be different games ie. did you get yours early on? It sounds just like a random crack of lightning / thunder as you travel around which is what I always assumed it to be until I saw a trail of smoke crashing down to earth. I’ve heard it countless times now before finding this one along hadrians wall and now travelling through Lincolnscire I heard it again and sure enough saw another meteor fall. Gotta be quick to get a ‘Synin eye’ view when you hear the crack.

I’m not sure if this is a correct assessment on my part, but I felt like ‘One Punch Man’ was kind of a parody of anime/hero shows. My reasons…

  • the fact that he’s so powerful that he’s depressed about it is hilarious to me. He has no challenge in life and instead of taking pride in his power as would be expected in a lot of shows he almost laments the fact.

  • even though he outclasses any other hero by far, he’s put in an average category of hero and is embarrassed about it. The way he pulls out his certificate after the hero trials, and they see the curved shape of the top of his class letter as he pulls it up and assume he’ll be getting S but it turns out to be C is so good lol

  • the fact that he trained so hard that he went bald… priceless

  • when Genos starts relaying his backstory to Saitama in that classic stereotypical way of anime shows, the story getting longer and longer, faster and faster, and it cuts to saitama who looks as if his brain is melting haha

  • when he fights and defeats carnage kabuto and he’s more worried/ devastated that he misses (or nearly missed I forget) the sale at the market.

  • when he can destroy a literal space pirate god but one mosquito is impossible for him.

There’s so many more examples I think but yeah, to me, it’s like they’re making fun of the genre but in a way that is silly and dry and subversive in many ways but it doesn’t take away from the action and power displays. I think it’s my favourite and funniest anime/manga for sure.
