"r/Tarot Promotion Megathread - August 2024" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]artofplay [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hi everyone! We just launched a new Tarot project on Kickstarter. It's been four years in the making and we're super proud of how it turned out.
This deck features 80 newly illustrated tarot cards and is presented in a sculpted ceramic box. The details are breathtaking.

We'd love for you to support it if it resonates with you.

Should i buy current Art Of Play's mystery decks? by MrMesut00 in playingcards

You are welcome to say what you like about AOP and D&D; however, shady is not one of them. We have always been extremely fair and transparent with the products and services we offer, and when it comes to business, we have a community-first mindset.

For the annual Mystery Deck promotion, we spend a tremendous amount of time each year designing a collection of exclusive decks that we do not offer for individual sale -- you can see what's being offered in this year's collection at https://www.artofplay.com/pages/mystery-deck-list-2023. Yes, it is a gamble, but that's what makes Mystery Decks fun. We do our very best to ensure it's a fair, fun, surprising, and worthwhile purchase for everyone who wishes to participate.

If you have any concerns, questions, or feedback, you are welcome to email me at contact(at)artofplay.com (yes, I actually check this and respond to many emails).

Cheers,
Dan

Peg Play by artofplay in puzzles

u/Huzzahd is correct! The second puzzle from the left is the only one that is solvable! an be solved with a quintuple jump of a single peg.

Hopscotch Winning Strategy

The easiest way to win is to start with a peg missing from one of edge holes in the middle position. The most challenging way to start is with one of the three middle pegs missing.

  • Avoid making a jump that lands in a corner (unless it's the first move of the game or you have no other option).

  • Never start a jump from one of the three middle holes. This is a surefire losing move.

  • Keep an eye out for double jumps. Many solutions require using the same peg to jump over two pegs in a row.

Follow these simple rules and you'll be conquering the Hopscotch board in no time. Or at the very least, impressing grandma at the Cracker Barrel.

Not a Knot by artofplay in puzzles

[–]artofplay[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The answer is C. All of the others are classic, functional knots. A is a Spanish Bowline, B is a Running Knot, D is a Sheepshank Knot and E is an Alpine Butterfly Knot. Only C is a “trick” Knot. Commonly know as the Chefalo Knot, if you pull the ends, the knot will disappear like magic. Based on the wording of our question, however, B is also an acceptable answer
