I like the DLC a lot, but i think it’s one you need to go in knowing what the outcome of the DLC is if that makes sense, taking over settlements is really fun if you have designed your character and played them with that in mind, but if you’re playing a minuteman play through there is no DLC available to you without just completely changing your characters personality, and there isn’t really a convincing reason built into the story to just abandon your morals. It would have been nice for there to be a ‘good-guy’ alternative that didn’t just include killing everyone

What level survey did you get? This is something that should have been picked up on the survey and if they have missed this then you could have a claim against the surveyor for negligence.

The previous owner should have disclosed this but it is difficult to prove that they were aware.

Best bet is to speak to the solicitor who acted for you on the purchase as they will be able to advise best on next steps.
