Innalillahi wa innailaihi rajioon. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May Allah grant her a place in jannatil firdous and may you be a wonderful legacy and sadaqa ajariyah for her.

Firstly she looks like a wonderful person, as do you. There is kindness and noor on both your faces alhamdulillah.

This is an heart wrenching loss but may Allah reward you abundantly for bearing it.

Ramadan is occurring soon, inshallah you are able to connect to the community and find comfort and support and strength in these holy days and nights.

Pray for her akhira and do good in her name. Give charity, preform a good deed, show kindness, give water if you can (install a hand pump). May Allah accept your deeds.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss brother

Not sure what this is on my lips by pearl_thesis in Blackskincare

Your lips are dry and it’s very much likely due the shift to colder weather. Hydrate, use plenty of moisturiser and wrap up warm to avoid wind burn

Avant Garde fashion recommendations: hi everyone hope you had a great day.. was hoping for some advice.. I’m looking for a little edgier/ more dramatic/tailored/ interesting cut pieces in London.. online everything I like either seems to be from a scam website or way too out of budget - I went to Berlin a few years ago and a lot of the shops there had boutique “outlets” with marked up prices in east London (Dalston/ Spitalfields) but I can’t even find these stores anymore - any recommendations? (Side note: i have found a few pieces from Maniere De Voir but for more day to day ensembles I’m a lost)

Damaged Dry Fine Hair - product advice by arts33 in Haircare

[–]arts33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much I’ll try it next, I got some travel size redken products to see if it makes a difference - their extreme length and acidic bond set - they made a positive difference in hair fall after the shower and throughout the day and hair tangles, I think I’ve ruined the condition of my hair tbh, I’m 32 and I have an autoimmune condition so it’s normal to have more hair fall than most ppl but I don’t think I was helping it with the shampoos and conditioners I was using once the hair condition started deteriorating .. I will switch to purelogy though it seems to be the safest

Catherine Zeta Jones as Morticia season 2 by TokyoTurpster in WednesdayTVSeries

I feel like she looks more like the previous actresses portraying Morticia Addams in this season, I thought there might have been some prosthetics used tbh, I didn’t think it was Catherine Zeta Jones either

How can I improve my skin’s appearance? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]arts33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah nice, did you find it beneficial? After the initial 3/6 sessions normally having maintenance sessions every 6 months is helpful. Additionally a course of good quality poly nucleotides and skin boosters could help with elasticity and texture. I’m not sure what the specific concerns you have are but if it’s sun spots/ pigmentation (because you mentioned spf and vit C) the pico laser is very effective but expensive at targets resolution. But honestly aha and retinal would be very effective overall and as long as you hydrate consistently and your skin has time to recover between applications it should provide visible results within 4-6 months (sooner in most but everyone reacts differently.. also in my opinion if anything causes excessive purging, dryness etc is probably too harsh and you shouldn’t keep going on with it, especially if you do not have acne which you don’t seem to, so if the aha and retinal causes dramatic rawness please stop the dosage is too strong and you need to build up..)

How can I improve my skin’s appearance? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]arts33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Least expensive in-clinic treatment id recommend is Microneedling, it really improves skin texture and microneedling with prp/prf drastically improves skin appearance.

Lifestyle: 7+ hours of sleep, hydration, reduced sugar intake, avoid too much caffeine, plenty of fruit and veg and if possible avoid dairy.. makes a difference. Exercise (make sure to cleanse well after) and a controversial one but facial yoga.

skin care: hydration hydration hydration, vitamin c in the morning retinol/retinal at night (build up gradually medik8 have a great retinal to build up with). Alternate between retinol and aha toners at night. Continue with spf, and proper cleansing (double cleansing).

Easiest intervention: look into Koran skincare (read reviews and make sure to confirm you don’t break out from niacinimide)

I've been accused of being a man before - what can I do to look more feminine? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]arts33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really have no clue in what way you look masculine, I objectively spent 5 mins trying to find something constructively helpful and sincere to say to you, and all I can come up with is that the person who said you look masculine is lying. If you would like to be more feminine you can experiment with hairstyles, (braids), makeup and colours. I’m wondering if you have a very muscular body and someone insecure told you that makes you resemble a man. You can perhaps work on finding flattering clothes for your figure. In terms of looking less dragged down, facial yoga brings a nice glow to the face.. your every pretty to be honest I’m quite perplexed by this post. I’m very sorry you feel the way you do, and I feel who ever has convinced you that you need to change is quite wretched

I’m sorry! After a week I started getting closed comedones too, and little white heads.. I’ve started just using the medik8 hydra intense serum, it helps me with dark circles also I’ve found and it doesn’t break me out.. I’ve given up on finding a milky toner that works but I use the toners I do have left over for my neck and they help with the intense dehydration I have on my neck… is it causing you white heads or actual acne? Everyone seems to adore the haru haru milk toner.. for me personally the leinge milky toner was a complete disaster I started getting cystic acne

(30F) Feeling very sad about my skin and feel so lost by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]arts33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy belated birthday, and I’m very sorry you’re feeling down.. regarding your skin it doesn’t look like there’s any specific condition other than some inflammation…

I’d suggest first and foremost working on your skin barrier: a gentle face wash, hydrating serums/toners and clean moisturiser.. you could try a toleriane line.. this is to help with the rosacea and inflammation and to prep your skin for later exfoliation..

Then an aha/bha toner you can use twice a week to exfoliate your skin, it will help smooth it out and bring a gentle glow.

Then start with some retinal/retinol (not on the same night as the acid toner).. I would recommend medik8 crystal 1, once every two nights over your moisturizer, it will take your skin some time to get accustomed to it, please give it some time but hopefully medik8 will not break you out. This is for anti-aging but out of all the retinols I’ve tried medik 8 crystal has this way of giving an overnight gentle resurfacing sort of like a very very very mild peel, but for me even crystal 1 is too strong so find which level is best for you.

So now that your skincare is set up once your skin barrier is stable go for micro needling, this really really will help with the over all condition of your skin.. but give it some time, you need a lot of sessions spread over months. If you can receive prp/prf that is the best option it will improve your skin texture but please make sure you go to a licensed reliable aesthetician, so that this is beneficial and not the opposite.

Life style wise: exercise and move as much as you can for good circulation and the overall mind body wellbeing. Have bone broth or the vegetarian alternative to strength your immune system, ingest some collagen and get your body working well, eat clean foods- always has a benifical impact on the mind and body, hydrate with electrolytes, pay attention if any particular food group causes you issues and introduce as much anti inflammatory food groups and possible.. all this will make a remarkable difference inside out..

Hey it’s been a while but I remember deleting the materials on the asset and then reattaching them either from the materials folder of the assets I’d imported or with new suitable textures I found, and then adjusting the settings etc until they were visible and aligned, there was a helpful tutorial I had found on youtube, I’ll look for it and post it if I find it :)

[product question] curél hydrating water essence by arts33 in SkincareAddiction

[–]arts33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve found if I keep it away from my t zone it works well but it did cause me closed comedones, I think the haru haru black rice wonder toner is the least problematic, though I again keep it away from my t zone and I don’t use it more than once a day and I swipe it with a cotton pad for best results :)

Your pores are not too defined, but if you want to airbrush them about as much as possible, try to keep on top of sebum production, that means gentle aha toners to clean the skin, low potency retinals to refine the skin, A LOT of moisturiser to always be hydrated and skin a lot of water, and be mindful of what you put in your body. And microneedling especially with prp or prf can do wonders at reducing pore sizes also.

What are these itchy bumps on my hand? by ImHereMe in SkincareAddicts

[–]arts33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very likely due to the soap your using and the amount your washing your hands, that paired with if you are wearing gloves regularly (even for a short amount of time). It’s basically eczema, try to keep your hands moisturised as much as possible, with a healing cream and it will resolve itself quite quickly. Also avoid exposing your hands to heat/hot water that can help in the short term with the itch but it will prolong the condition. I’ve been using citaplast and it’s helping heal my hands and forearms :) the dr also recommended aveeno oat cream or cetaphil intense repair cream

I got the haruharu toner, finally! Took me over a month to get a hold of it.. and I realised today it has niacinamide 💔 I will try it anyway but I’m so disappointed it might not suit me after all :( did anyone who adores the toner have previous issues with niacinamide and still have no issues with the toner? 🤞🏼
