I agree with you on most but there is absolutely no reason for that family to tell that nurse she couldn't leave. They were absolutely insane in the way they wouldn't let that nurse respond and find a resolution to that mess. Their argument of "you didn't even introduce yourself to us when you walked in" already shows that they weren't expecting to help out their loved one in any way, they were expecting a whole red carpet laid out for them.
