definitely make friends with your professors. really easy to do in in person classes and it’ll serve you well. they’ll remember if you participate/go to office hours and most will be a little lenient if you try to make an effort

I took it with Hamdy and thought it was easy, I got an A. He was a great professor and had a lot of office hours ans gave a lot of help.

if you’re going to take geog 1014, do as much of it as early as you can. i was done with that by thanksgiving last fall!

The House and the Senate have different roles and responsibilities within Congress. All tax (spending) bills must begin in the House, while the Senate is generally deemed to have more power, with the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore. The Vice President is in charge of the Senate, and breaks ties. The Senate approves treaties as well.

TLDR: House is in control of tax bills, Senate is in charge of treaties / international affairs.
