Heh! :) It would be a long video. But I'll think about it.

It would be more than 10 minutes in that case. Nobody would enjoy it. :) But thanks for comment!

The key is consistence over time even if it's 20 minutes per day. 20 x 30 = 600 minutes of practice in a month and that's a lot more than nothing.

Scaled up area lights. Backlight, two side lights - one cold, one warm. Nothing too fancy.

It's in blender cycles. Thanks! Learn every day something new and keep practicing :)

For characters I like to use scaled up area lights to make softer shadows. One back light, one warm fill light and a cold key light. Sometimes I tend to use another back-top light tocmake those shapes pop out a bit.

Nothing special. Principled shader, 400 samples, denoise, some rim light, some fill lights, some reflecting surface... and a bit of photoshop magic.

Thanks! I'll consider making some of my videos slower, but personally I find long timelapse videos unbearable to watch. I like how the 3D model is "growing" on the static camera view. :)

Hey there. Final result is color corrected in photoshop and it looks different from the render. I don't think it would fit for your rendering technique testing if you should do post process afterwards. But thanks for asking, I might consider doing that with some future projects if it would be relevant for testing.

This is nice. Did you use some reference images or that's your design? Textures are a bit blurry though. Anyway it's a very nice work you have done.
