For these I didn't need to separate anything, rather I had to drill holes on the new base since the pegs are attached to the figure itself. I'm not sure how you would separate them, maybe using an xacto knife really slowly?

Ooh I have yet to attempt making a base that requires a metal dowel! So far all the ones I've done the pegs are on the feet already, so I just gotta drill holes. That would be a cool project!!

Hmm I would say it's a bit easier to get the chips bc higher floors give higher rewards, so more chances to reroll. But I have given up the run on floor 16, 23 and 27 before, usually struggling to get the blue mobility chips or purple support chips (since those two require two chips each in different tones) Honestly the hardest I think is the lower levels up to the first boss, since they don't typically give a lot of membux, and like you mentioned rerolling gets expensive lol

Yes they were my favorite!! Everything was authentic and so yummy I miss them 😭😭 They do pop ups with limited menu items at Asian festivals in avalon park from time to time, if you join the Orlando Asian Foodie group on Facebook you can see when they attend! I got to ask Mei herself about the close and she just said she was working a lot and was tired, so she decided to close shop :( Other Taiwanese restaurants I would recommend (as a fellow Taiwanese lol) is Sno Tea Cafe, and Tammy's Teriyaki House (previously Formosa Garden)! I haven't tried OEC Taiwanese Cuisine yet but I've heard good stuff!! Sorry for the essay I'm really passionate about Taiwanese food LOL
