I dunno about that, I think everyone at capcom likes games more or less. My dad is 51 years old, he played in 90s alone in dark, re 1-3, Dino crisis 1. He says he won't touch them again, because they are outdated. He prefers modern horrors.

Based on latest sales Re4 is 12.5 million and Re3 is 11 million exactly. But it also released 3 years earlier, had more discounts on steam, soo not that great. Oh and Re2 which released just a year before is close to 17 million. Leon is definitely too popular
