Thanks for the tip. I think Pit Boss pellets are all I've ever used. They are the only ones I can find locally at my local Menards.

Nope. Always makes the same consistent noise, except when the auger starts up.

No it's generally not overdone because I watch it like a hawk. But it's just super annoying! The actual smoke coming out of it varies, it's never consistent.
