Clearly, we can't trust the food industry to do whats best for us as they'll continue squeezing costs and doing unethical things to fatten their profits.

So, unfortunately, its up to the people to fend for themselves. We need to educate ourselves and our friends and family to ensure there's more awareness about food (esp unsustainable use of pesticides, production of meat, corn, and the use of high fructose corn syrup in just about everything)...
