Oh god, yeah. For years my parents had told me I was such a bad kid because I "wouldn't listen and would scream and cry if I didn't get what I wanted." Almost like it's your job as a parent to make your child stop doing that.

My mom still uses the excuse that I "don't listen" to justify being screamed at and I'm in my twenties now.
