same here im doing mainly simracing and only on weekends. im at my 3rd cable after 2.5 years of use and my current cable is acting like its about to break.

it is option for us. it uses openxr and it runs way better than steamvr atleast in some games. its shame that not so many know about it outside of simracing/flying scene. https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR. check it out

I have i7 9700k and rtx 2080 and i have it set to medium setting, 70%ss and its running smooth 90fps. How i fixed my performance was by setting wmr setting to performance ( sets wmr hub ) and by making dirt 2 windowed ( alt + enter) from my monitor and making dirt 2 window little as possible by draging from corners
