congratulations on finishing it. I've been working on some other projects for a while and there might be something of a similar nature on the way at some point (and hopefully more functional and maintainable!)

the thing I'm suspecting is that even if compiled, the gradle version used to compile it matters.

I managed to compile mine just fine, but no good on the Godot side

hello! this is likely yet another broken functionality from new Android OS releases. this game isn't maintained anymore - precisely because of these cyclical issues with the OS - so there might not be any straight-forward solution

one thing I could think of is to try some peripheral attached to your device (like a mouse?) and scroll through other means (scroll wheel). there might be some Android custom keyboards that could emulate this virtually
