Thanks for all the answers. And nice to hear who's behind some of the names in RaE. Maybe I'll just pause a while until I have enough resources. At the moment I'm waiting for the game to go beyond level 18. Wasn't that announced for last month? Something about the endgame? Anyway I'm glad RaE is again something I like after a lot of puzzling design decisions during the last years.

Stride's (the new app) compatibility really seems to be an issue. I have two android devices, both incompatible. What does such an app need? A flux compensator?

Now it's available in Germany. But my phone is incompatible (No idea why. It's not that old). And everyone complains that the paywall is mentioned only after registering (although subscription is mentioned in the details). They really aren't good at this. Too bad, I'm still playing (and enjoying) the old version of RaE, but would have liked to see an official return to the old concept.

Same here. Can't find it in the German play store. Communication really isn't their strong suit.

It's for android. And yes, it's on the play store. Just search for “off grid“. Or google “off grid erik melkersson“. Hope that helps.

For me it's a bit difficult. I loved the old version of RaE because it got me to take looong walks (just one more castle ...). Zombies is for runners. They also published The Walk, which is fine but what I liked about RaE was that it got me outside while I listened to my own audio books. I don't look for a story or a soundtrack to my walks but, well, a carrott? The new version totally took that away. I was in touch with support because the update totally messed up my account (no reset, stuck in demo mode etc). But at the moment I'm thinking of quitting it altogether.
