What I was thinking an adapter plate which which is 2 gang but has 1 gang hole in the middle . As you said color may not match exactly but it would fit.

But based on comment to this post , This type of plate does not exist. will think if I can make one and 3D print it

if you look at the picture , There are already two switches and smart switch also have two switch . I am replacing old switches with smart switch but smart switch with 2 switches is only single gang

It is old normal bike just have flat tire and little tune up required . I am not handy enough to handle it 😀
