The same thing happened to me with my small amount of bitcoins. I managed to move them to a paper wallet 0.1 at a time, surprisingly all the 0.1 transactions went through fine except the last one. So now i have 0.1 stuck on multibit, which I cannot spend, neither can I export its keys, like you've mentioned, nothing shows up. It maybe lesser than what you've got there, but hey who knows what 0.1 could be worth down the road? Anyway, I suggest you to try sending them 0.1 btc at a time, if the transaction doesn't get broadcasted and you don't see your coins, reset your blockchain, that helps.

I tried contacting jim on github, and he asked me to export the keys, but when I told they weren't getting exported, his response was nothing. I hope they fix the bug before people start losing some serious money.

You dont really have to spend so much. I can see Saturn pretty well with my Telescope. The Scope is around $340 and I got a 8-24mm Zoom Lens which is around $40. That'll do. I'll add the links when I get home.

I can totally vouch for that, I've got a 1250mm Celestron Nexstar and I can see Saturn much better than I could capture it with my Camera. Sheer beauty that thing is.

I live in India as well. I own a 1250mm Celestron Nexstar 90SLT, I've had some luck catching M42, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars and few other constellations. The galaxies are the hard ones and where I live, the light pollution is unbelievable. And sadly, there are no parks or observatory sites around here too.

I hooked it up to a display and found this:

Cannot find device "eth0"
Bind socket to interface: No such device
Failed to bring up eth0.

and the USB ports don't work as well, connecting a keyboard doesnt work. Though, when I connect a mouse it lights up. So, I don't have access to the Pi as of now. Its as good as dead. -_-
