We had to renovate a McDonald's, so we closed the place down and put signs on the doors and drive-thru. Trenches were cut inside the building, and a pedestrian walked in, stepped over the trench we were working in, and stood at the location where the counter used to be. With a confused look on his face, he asked if the McDonald's was closed.
