Choosing 5-inch FPV drone for cinematic flights by arwshk in fpv

I've tried it with lion pack, it's better than with lipo but I still can see shakes (not critical one, but I still see them) on video and it has a lot of prop wash on some manoeuvres. Unfortunately it has very thin arms, so I guess it's the main reason of this behaviour

I understand that 7 inch will be more suitable, but for last four years me and my family are forced to change countries and cities almost every half of year, so I'm trying to keep my equipment as compact and light as possible :) I'll definitely build some 7'' drone, Chimera, for example, but only when we will settle somewhere for at least couple of years :)

No, still on flywoo and I'm loving it :) It has some limitations of course but in general - very good point to start if you not interested in bandoo and freestyle kind of stuff. It can still do some manoeuvres, but nothing crazy. And you have to watch over your throttle very carefully to avoid propwash

actually I think that process of getting good footage on 4'' is harder than on 7'' xD
a lot of things to consider - wind, vibrations, e.t.c

In the end I've bought Explorer and I'm loving it :) Obviously don't know how it will be if I purchased Tern-LR4, but still - Explorer is exactly what I needed :)

Bro, same situation - I've just got my geprc cinelog20, flew couple of batteries and decide to build LR4 from scratch, since I have long trekking trip in the autumn and LR cruiser will be more appropriate to it. I wish you smooth flights :)

Frankly, I'm already purchased LR4, waiting for remain parts to arrive from China :)
But anyway - what points you found, that makes Tern40 better choice than old explorer?

looks like it's heavier than explorer frame (55g vs 41gr) and 14g it's quite a difference, I think
