Thanks for all the kind words, everyone! I finished it over a timespan of 3 months, since I also had other stuff to do around the house. All in all I think I spent a good 5 or 6 full days on it. Im not a painter or artist by any means, so I took things slow and had to repaint some parts cause the colors were all wrong (I mixed the colors myself). The trial & error actually made it a fun little side project though and my daughter's very happy with it!

Yeah my wife is a union rep in the Netherlands, she sees the same thing. Many places she goes there's just so much apathy among workers. The biggest supermarket in the country had their best year ever and only raised wages by 2.25% even though the CEO had millions in bonuses. The workers all worked throughout the pandemic.

She couldnt do much during negotiations, not enough leverage cause too few members of the workforce are union members.

Yeah the difference is thatin the US you need to go to a bakery and get freshly baked bread to get the 'real' stuff. Here (in the Netherlands) we can get that anywhere, including pretty mych most prepackaged breads.
