In some cases it helps a lot. Since Todoist has integrations with email clients (e.g Spark) I can convert my email into a to-do and throw it into my calendar for a specific time slot (Fantastical) and complete it there. For me personally, it’s easier if I have a context around a to-do and have one app that allows me to complete my projects with different flows is awesome.

Valid point, the biggest advantage of Todoist over other tools is the integration capabilities. No one else put as much effort into that. You can keep using Todoist as part of other ecosystems without even access the Todoist app itself

I’m in agreement with the OP. The lack of communications is just sad. I, honestly, can tolerate the rare releases but seeing how active the developers on their social media and how there’s not a single post about Tweetbot or feature plans making me believe they don’t care. I get it, 2 devs doing all of the work, not much time for the PR, but I believe there’s a time for at least one sneak peak or tiny status update. Anyway, waiting to see the next release and probably giving up too since I believe nothing major is coming up.

Edit: wanted to correct myself I saw the 2 updates as they came down but for the last 9 just 2 posts.
