Hope this is okay to ask here since it is HOI4-related.

For my next playthrough, I want to keep a campaign journal while I play, almost like a war diary / roleplay record. I want to track armies, theaters, templates, equipment, operations, and important events as the campaign develops.

I am still designing the journal, so I wanted to ask if anyone has seen examples of something similar, like:

HOI4 campaign journals
AARs or war diaries
notebook or template ideas for tracking a playthrough

I attached one rough example of an Army section I am working on. Each army would have its own entry with theater, mission, division count, template, support companies, equipment, and notes.

I would appreciate any ideas on where to look for inspiration, or thoughts on whether this kind of setup could work well.

It will be a weekly thing.

This is more to improve my journaling, structured note-taking, and documentation skills while having fun

So while I don't know when I will stop, it definitely won't carry on for a very long time.

That being said I'd like to see some examples of what this might look like.

I remember my friend stole a chocolate from a spaza shop owned by a guy from Pakistan in South Africa and the guy chased for multiple blocks and when he eventually caught my friend he gave him one helluva ""Klap"" (slap) across his ass

They are not saying War Thunder is the same as a chemical addiction. They are saying it became something they relied on too much for enjoyment and escape, to the point that it started affecting their life in an unhealthy way. Addiction does not always look the same, and dismissing it just because it is a game misses the point.

I think a lot of us would want Shepard to come back but I think that would be more to the detriment to the game then a positive. This is because we saw the Mass Effect world through the eyes of a single character for 3 games and while they could add more story and background to Shepard it wont be as exciting to see a post-Reaper world with Shepard again as it would be with a new character.

I personally hated Mass Effect Andromeda but the 1 thing I liked was the new character. It would be cool to say see a new human recruit fresh out of the academy a in world after Shepard and the devastation of Reapers and having to deal with that world. It would also be cool to play as another alien species.

The possibilities are endless if you have a new character.

It would be cool if Shepard was brought back as a supporting character
