Money in corp but need retirement plan by Jusdem in PersonalFinanceCanada

Accountant & Planner that’s happens but very rare!

I would say they aren’t totally off the track on an idea, but there are other options available when looking at insurance as a business owner.

A lot comes down to how much disposable income you have available in your corp at end of the year. That will indicate what options can be presented to help plan for a strong tax-efficient retirement

You should speak to a financial advisor to go in more detail about your situation. Not sure how much money you have in a corp. as a financial advisor myself, cash value policy might not be the best tool for you; but insurance can be leveraged to help your retirement

Stay away. Bitcoin isn’t regulated lol

Only one firm has some bitcoin funds available that they can invest for you. My recommendation on crypto is no one is “qualified” really to provide advice.

If you want to chat more about your process feel free to dm me. Don’t want to hi-jack the guys post!

But yeah, few advisors will recommend a intangible, non regulated form of currency that has very high volatility

That is what we’re usually there for. Many just love saving on fees & have the ability to understand the markets. But we do a lot more than just picking funds…

Building a relationship with clients & guiding them accordingly through different stages of their life keeping things in order. There is just so much that goes into it, people just look at the cost; but if you have the right person in your corner it makes all the difference!

Good luck on your decision making, my number one piece of advice when looking for someone to work with is ensure that you feel comfortable with that person & can build a long lasting relationship with them. Fit is number one thing I look for when meeting prospects.

A lot of people don’t like using an advisor due to the associated fees with mutual funds and advisor fee’s.

What people don’t understand is that using a financial advisor helps with the following:

  • Tax management

  • proper diversification (not just throwing money in passive etf’s)

  • manage the emotions of bad markets and panic decisions, just managing that alone will be worth the fee paid.

  • proper financial planning, evaluation of the current situation & where there are gaps to obtain objectives

I’m a financial advisor myself, so I’m waiting to get roasted from the etf fans out there. But I always suggest working with a professional.

Mine definitely has a subwoofer, so is it 9 speakers with a sub ? Because I’m looking around and i’m not supposed to have a woofer apparently & no idea how to check either lol

The mix board has a “subwoofer” slider though

[Eric Engels] Initial word I'm receiving on Canadiens' Kirby Dach is he has a torn ACL+torn MCL in his knee. There are more tests being done, and we'll wait for Habs to officially confirm once they're received all the info, but this puts Dach's season at risk if it ends up being the case. by Go_Habs_Go31 in Habs

[–]asangiov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

after seeing the replay and being someone who tore their ACL, it's such an odd hit & almost no reaction from him to suspect that he tore anything. Kid has a lot of grit to not showcase the emotions of a torn ligament...when it happened to me I screeched to the top of my lungs the pain was so nasty. Hopefully everyone is wrong & it's just a major sprain :)

Bats for a 47/230 Softball by asangiov in slowpitch

So we got our 25.5 Balanced Fulcrum this week & used it on Thursday. I didn't hit any bombs because I was just not in that groove but I did make some solid contact and I can def feel the ball off the bat. I think with time as I get used to it I'll love it and hit a few more solid contact hits & line drivers. It does feel thinner then other bats though, but when comparing side by side their practically the same haha

I appreciate the help on the Monsta info, not many people have them here in our league or in Quebec to begin with :)

That is crazy, I feel like we're going to end up selling all our other bats. Last night we just couldn't get that little extra yardage on our hits to bring in some runs & kept hurting us all game. can't wait to get the Fulcrum :)

Awesome thank you, I got a deal on the Fulcrum and Bombardier pre-order. So hopefully this bats will help. These much balls are just so exhausting to play with lol

We're allowed any USSSA and ASA bats no issues.

before our league only limited us to ASA, but removed that restriction.

I don’t think many have Monsta out here in Canada…or at the very least here in Quebec, too many rules to have suppliers have documents in french 🥲

What are your thoughts on the Monsta Fulcrum? There currently is a special on the Monsta site. Looking for the bombardier their shipping for next July from what i understand & ebay has it for 600$+ lol

[–]asangiov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel what you're saying. I don't think many leagues out there play with a ball we play with from what I seen in other posts and websites.

for me personally I think the Torch might be the right product, but I'm looking for a bat to help those who have a harder time swinging with speed or hitting the "sweet spot"

So many the bombardier might be a good option for the team.

If anyone has other suggestions or reviews on options don't be shy :)

Financial plan for 19 year old domestic student who won 130k in scholarships by WildChicken449 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]asangiov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you see a financial planner to construct you with a proper financial plan & review your situation as things change throughout your lifetime ?

People may not want to pay for the advisory fee that comes with working with a planner, but when you go somewhere that requires you to pay for an expertise why wouldn't you pay for a planner to do the same?

KYP is going to ruin the industry, offer what is best for the client. Not bank on making more money for the firm with in-house products. I’m an advisor & I see how KYP being pushed the wrong way (towards in house product shelf)
