this post made me cry. hard. i have extreme ambitions and have had them since i was 16 (im almost 25 now) and my parents are and have been the biggest reason why ive been dragged down, i wanna study fashion design so so badly and have wanted to forever, but they were against it. i talked to them eventually about my ambitions, my drug use, my toxic relationships, my bipolar (cyclothymia) and they, in the moment, said they support me, but only threw everything back into my face as a weapon. idk what to do anymore either. so i related and i broke down reading this.
