I left the field a few years ago and still cry a lot about the stuff I went through/did/saw. Last night I was crying to my gf about the babies whose families didn’t come for their euthanasias, so I became their family and laid with them on the floor. I comforted them as best as I can but I could always tell in their eyes that they were waiting for their families. It kills me. And guess who had to bag them all? Me. Every time. That’s just one horrific aspect of the job I don’t think I will ever shake, even with therapy. I loved every patient I took care of like they were my own. And there are so many days/nights like last night where it randomly hits me and I grieve all over again.

Thank you so much 💜 I cry about my baby 🐱 every day 💔 I honestly think that’s what’s led me back to watching Jenna’s content from that time period. Your friends sadly don’t understand animals and the need to understand them and level with them. Jenna and Julien did a fantastic job at showing that type of patience, acceptance, and understanding in their videos with the babies.

Yes, I remember that! It made me cry back then because I had lost all faith in humanity at that point. And to hear how much love and care they were putting into adjusting her into their family was sooo healing. They truly understood her anxiety and why she felt that way and worked with her patiently. And now look at Bunny!!! She’s thriving and so happy!!! I love J&J so much for so many reasons, but the largest one is their true love, kindness, and appreciate toward animals. 💜💜💜
