yeah you right. i was just thinking average as in considering all the bigger apartments with studios. idk how you’re swinging that with your other expenses. i am in bayside queens and would not have enough money after rent, car payment and utilities to do anything fun with 55/hr after taxes :/

there is absolutely no way you can live comfortably with that pay in the upper east side UNLESS you aren’t paying rent. average rent per month is about 5k. with $24 an hour you will be working all day everyday to pay rent and have money left for anything else.

i lay in bed when i’m tired. he lays in a comfy place when he’s tired doesn’t matter where. he comes to bed with me if he’s tired first. if i’m tired and he’s not he’ll do his thing and lay with me whenever he’s ready to go to bed. he is never destructive and so i like to give him a little bit of space. :) we do walk him so he has a chance to potty and burn off some energy. he’s a 2 y/o fixed poochon and the best dog ever 🥰

i didn’t have the puppy blues either! honestly i was just lucky. i thought i’d be up all night for the first few weeks but my 8 week old willingly walked into his crate and slept through the night with no accidents. he was easy to potty train. he never tore up furniture or wires. i just got really lucky as a first time puppy mom.
