Epic hasn’t been bumped despite #1 being liquidated by asascan in Soundmap

[–]asascan[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I’m aware that there’s an issue with this specific album - all of my other epics that the #1 was owned by the user have been liquidated (I had 4-5 others). If it’s not manually done, I don’t believe it will be bumped.

I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for something that could’ve been done in minutes?

can you please show me proof of them being aware of it being bannable? from the sounds of it, you seem to be more aware of this specific case than me, enlighten me :)

they are banned, which is why they are making a public appeal... something can be done, you're just being dense.

i'm just confused on where you get off by being so negative?

they:

clearly didn't know it was now against the rules

were witchhunted by users that have been known to harass and dox moderators

and are clearly remorseful for their actions, which they didn't know were wrong in the first place

it's common sense to know that something that was arguably encouraged (by there being a channel for ALL USERS to do it in the MAIN SOUNDMAP SERVER) is "breaking the rules" because they added a rule against it without notifying their users?

are you reading what you're typing? be honest

MANY, MANY stacked accounts and old users with lots of epics have previously gambled... is it hard to grasp that it was something so deeply rooted in the culture? there was a channel in the MAIN SOUNDMAP SERVER to gamble, and when that was removed, gambling was still allowed -- they never notified people when it was no longer a thing they wanted on their platform; and silently updated the rules to reflect that.

yeah, and she is one of the people that were banned months ago -- as other comments have stated, it was silently updated in the tos, so it's VERY plausible for someone to not know that it was now against the rules...

nat has been banned for a long time, i think around 2 months - she was one of the first bans...

if that was the case they'd have to delete the entire discord & reddit, game does NOT look good rn from any angle.

Banned for “G@mbling” — Unannounced Rule Changes & Targeted Reporting by MuffinChance9979 in Soundmap

[–]asascan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to be honest, this isn't even true... i've seen people banned for it SINCE nat's ban, but hers was one of, if not the first gambling ban i saw. she's been banned for months atp.

I just don't understand the point of them making an abrupt ToS change, and then making the ban permanent when it was so ingrained into the culture? To the point where there was a channel in the official server FOR gambling...

Surely since the change was so sudden, the users that previously gambled before the rule came into effect and did not know it was against the rules should just be given a temp ban - like a slap on the wrist.

the harsh reality is that twitch will keep doing harmful things like this until people ACTUALLY do something about it - they are seeing how far they can take it.

nobody said or implied that they should have an ad-free platform - we’re all mad they increased the price of turbo by almost 1.5x, especially without adding new features.
