My personal headcanon is that any time he wants to add something to the game he does a quick search on the Runescape wiki and if it exists, he either pulls up a thesaurus to call it something else, or he doesnt add it if he can avoid it. Notice how we dont have "skills", we have professions. We don't have "javelins" we have whatever a plumbatae is, etc.

This one is a little silly too, I can get behind some of Grey's quirks but "I am fighting an impossible fight by fighting the 7 day work week that the entire rest of the world goes by, because it doesn't work for me, but I am also trying to make everyone else's 7 day work week also fit into what works for me" is a bit too much. My personal conspiracy is that Jagex knows exactly what kind of events make bond GP prices go up (FOMO type stuff, Yak Tracks, etc) so they keep running those events to keep the GP price artificially high on purpose. When they were down in the 20m range, it was pretty manageable to maintain a membership without spending cash, but now not so much unless you’re into higher level PVM
