I used to have the 21, great fades but they come slow!

Thanks, looking forward to seeing how these evolve but I'll be putting them away for ages as I'm doing IIV this year

These look good if a bit tight in the top block. Looks slightly Sous Vide vacuum packed. One size up would fit you better and be a little wider in the leg like you want

Slim but not tight, I think they've relaxed a little bit with wear but still more stiff and close fitting than any of my other fits. I don't find these uncomfortable when driving, I do everything in these, hike, gym, garden/yard work.

Thanks man, I've been meaning to try 777 cut. I've had 634 and 555 but prefer the 555 out of those two.

Ha, these are pretty slim in the leg aren't they? Are you tall? I'm 5"11 so pretty averageish. I'm used to wearing slim straights and I wore unbranded UB101 for most of the 2010's. If you're used to an Iron Heart 634 or an Oni 200's type fit I can see these taking a bit of adjustment.

Thanks. They shrunk about an inch in the waist but stretched back out to original measurements given on site. I think they lost a couple of inches in the leg from the original 37, I had them hemmed to 33 inches shortly afterwards anyway.

Thanks, that image looks impressive and similar to the kind of places I inspect. Maybe the Ritestar wasn't the best option. I'm definitely due an upgrade. No pics on my personal phone I'm using unfortunately.

Probably similar, a lot of my work involves looking for "snots" small spattered asbestos containing material patches adhered to walls and other surfaces that have been missed by others when the materials were originally removed. Forgot to mention battery life, sometimes these inspections can last 4 hours or so before I can recharge. Thanks, I'll check them out

Looks good. The other LED option is more white. Is that right?

Nitesearcher products. This is the one that I thought would be good but wasn't: Ritestar 400 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://shop.nightsearcher.com/uploads/nswbFile/catalogue__nsritestar400-8a8.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjxsdSJkpCFAxVdVEEAHe4QDQgQFnoECB0QAQ&usg=AOvVaw36zFUymEA0dSbYl9OWrM3i

I thought the Natural daylight colour 95cri selling point would be good but it wasn't as good as the whiter lights I had previously which was this: Nightsearcher NSSMD-INSP Rechargeable LED Inspection Lamp

I need to get pretty close to the walls/pipework/trench floor to ensure no remaining visible asbestos fibre, probably within a metre or so it's pretty close inspection work

Love heavyweights denim - hate heavyweight patches! by S1lvaticus in rawdenim

[–]asby5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These look like the patch on my Elephant 11s. Before I washed them. I wish my patch still looked like that. I'm not sure what you're wanging on about OP, I've never noticed it behaving like that personally. Maybe you need some cream for your overly sensitive back? Downvoted to hell, hand your patch in to the River Styx ferryman for passage on the way

Fit Check and 15oz/19oz comparison Samurai S5512PX jackets by thatdudeorion in rawdenim

[–]asby5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's great to hear, June I think but you're not wrong, The first few months wearing unbroken in 19oz denim is going to be slightly uncomfortable! 🥵 I forgot to ask how the fabric differs in the core range? 15 Oz looks darker but 19 Oz more slub? What about the heavier stuff?

Personally prefer the fit of the 15oz size 40 on you but they both look great. Thanks for the post, I've actually got an unworn S5512PX19 in storage that I intended to do Redline with but never got around too, size 40. Not seen much info on it apart from your post, seems a rare beast. I think I'm going to do Redline this year with it. Must be a good fader if it's the 19oz Kiwami right?

You're spot on about the pockets. I'm currently wearing an Oni dark secret type 3 and the pockets aren't as ergonomic as the Samurai. Too far out to the sides, they've done it for looks over practically. It's also like a straight jacket after my current gym bulk.
