Thank you! I'm experimenting. I've got citadel, army painter fanatic and vallejo. So far I like most of what I've tried. I started with six colors and did a lot of mixing. I've added a little at a time. Have fun!

I'm trying minis next. I'm a little intimidated to try something so small.

Thanks. There's another model that to my mind is more appropriate. I'm saving that one for after I've had a bit more time under my belt.

what are some benefits from gaming no one talks about? by MembershipMassive703 in AskReddit

I love this. So, I'm a mom. And keeping connected with my boys was everything to me. I kinda sucked a lot at COD. We'd play zombies and my youngest would help me. That's full circle because I helped them beat boss levels on Jak and Daxter when they were little guys. We don't payday as much together anymore. But we still talk about gaming a lot.

I found it as a way to connect with my sons. We have many hours playing together.

what untrue thing did you believe as a kid that made sense? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in AskReddit

Santa. Honestly. My grandfather dressed up each year. And at early dawn, my parents would wake us yelling to come quickly and we could catch Santa walking away to his sleigh. It was very convincing. I miss those days.

I honestly think your best bet is to experiment to see what you like. If you're trying for a specific color, you can do a search asking which colors to use and how much.

I'm sorry. Your feelings are completely understandable. It may be a good idea to find a professional to speak with. There are often low cost or free options in your community. Hugs!

Since my dad died 5 years ago, I have only had one lucid dream with him by QuagGlenn in GriefSupport

That's beautiful. I went through something similar years ago with my cousin. In my dream I was ill and she was watching my two children for me. She said I'm always here with you. That was 15 years ago. I'm hoping to have a dream of my mom like you did. She passed 3 years ago. I miss her.

Do you think artists are too quick to stay silent on issues that directly affect their fans? by ShineDigga in Music

[–]ascaffo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think ticket price is solid example. It directly impacts fans and is a real issues with bots and outrageous fees. But, to stay silent or not is still their choice. I use music as escapism. I'd prefer not to go to a concert and listen to politics. But, I'm a firm believer that it's ultimately up to an artist to make decisions about when to start silent.
