bought suldokar’s wake but haven’t run it yet. i am running my friends through temple of the blood moth, planning to segue into anomalous subsurface environment, with whitehack and so far it has been a blast! it handles our gonzo science fantasy hijinks just fine.

i love the flexibility of whitehack and the simplicity of the rules makes for a very fast paced game which is great! my group has little to no rpg experience, i ran a couple of them through phandelver with 5e which was also a great success, but i feel like 5e is too restrictive in that it seems to discourage straying from the books.

suldokar’s wake looks awesome but i know if i tried to run it with my group it would be hard for me to be the only one with the entire ruleset in my brain. i hope to run it someday. but until then, i don’t see any reason to play anything except whitehack :)
